Update Chinees, nieuwe kralen aankoop en patroon /Update Chinese, new set of beads and pattern

Deze week een update van de Chinees.

Ik begin een beetje te balen van dat roteren... Ik zie niks echt opschieten en het duurt een eeuwigheid voordat er iets af komt.  Ik denk wel dat ik af en toe eens een ander borduurwerk pak, maar dat ik er wat langer per keer aan blijf werken.

I am starting to get fed up with that rotating... I can't see anything grow and it takes forever to finish something.

I will grab another stitchwork every once in a while, but I think I am going to work on it for a longer period of time.

Er is nu een klein beginnetje gemaakt met de Chinese muur die door het stuk heenloopt. Maar aangezien dat begin haast de zelfde kleur heeft als het doek zelf is het even zoeken naar de steken haha.

ENGLISH:

A small start has being made with the Chinese wall that runs through the entire piece. But because it's almost the same color as the cloth itself, you have to search a moment to find the stitches haha.

Ik heb me laten vertellen dat de tekst in dit borduurwerk iets te maken heeft met iemand het beste wensen en dat men veel succes in zaken mag hebben.... Zoiets schijnt het te betekenen. Nou, dat kan ik altijd wel gebruiken haha.

Ik heb dit pakket één maal voor mezelf gekocht, maar ik heb er ook nog twee op voorraad liggen. Dus wil je ook zo'n pakket maken.... Ik heb er nog twee.

Ik heb ook weer een setje nieuwe kralen gekocht en een patroon van internet gedownload (gratis patroon).

Er zijn vele, vele ingewikkelde patronen te vinden van de prachtigste werken.. Maar voordat ik daaraan toekom, eerst maar even simpel.. 

Even de feeling erin krijgen.

Ik heb een aantal Tsjechische facetkralen en rocailles gekocht (crystal, amethyst en koperkleur) in de maten 2,3, 4 en 6 mm, een magneetslotje en ringetjes en draad (Fireline) heb ik nog liggen.

Dus YES ik heb weer wat te kralen..... Ach.... Als het zo doorgaat verander ik van een borduurblog in een kralen blog hihi.

Echt verslavend die kraaltjes.

Dat is maar een grapje natuurlijk, want borduren blijft mijn grootste liefde.

Maar uiteindelijk kan ik ook gaan borduren met kraaltjes....

I have bought me a new set of beads and downloaded a pattern from the internet (free download).

There are many, many difficult patterns available for the most gorgeous pieces...But before I start with something like that, first I will practice with something simple...

I have to get the feeling for it...

I have bought a number of Tsjech facet beads and seedbeads (crystal, amethyst and copper colors) in the sizes 2,3, 4 and 6 mm, a magnetic clasp and jumprings. Fireline I already have.

So YES, I can start beading again.... Oh boy.... If things go on like this, I will change from a stitchblog to a beading blog haha.

Those beads are addictive.

I am kidding ofcourse, because stitching is, and always will be my bigest love.

But then, I can always start stitching with beads....

Update Oude wereldmap tweeling/ Update Old worldmap twin.

Ben weer goed bezig geweest met m'n tweeling. Het eerste vel is officieel klaar. 
Echt even wat aparts, met twee dezelfden bezig te zijn, maar dan toch net even anders.
De ene 13 steken, de andere 4,5 steek per centimeter. Niet alleen m'n ogen moeten omschakelen, maar de manier van borduren ook. Het is echt een groot verschil om met één over één draadje te werken of zo'n groot aida blok.

I have been working on my twin lately.. The first patternsheet is now officialy ready.
It's something very different, being busy with two of the same kind, but then again still a little different.
One with 32 stitches per inch, the other with 11 stitches per inch. Not only my eyes need to ajust, but the way of stitching also. It's a big difference to work with one over one thread or such a big aida block.

Hier hangen "David en Goliath" gebroedelijk naast elkaar op de bank. Eerst hingen ze aan mijn kast, tussen de lades ingeklemd, maar de kast is verkocht,dus dat gaat niet meer.

Here are "David and Goliath" hanging next to each other on my couch. At first they were hanging on my cabinet, stuck between my drawers, but my cabinet is sold, so that is no longer possible.

Maar dat is weer voor de volgende keer. Voorlopig heb ik enorme zin om weer lekker met de grote Chinees te gaan vechten..

Oh ja..... Ik heb van de week ook nog even een paar klodders op Urretje gegooit.... Zijn kont, onderkantje en één zijkantje zijn nu in kleur 9010...

Nou...... Ja........ Ik had er eigenlijk geen foto van hoeven maken, want op de foto is het verschil van grondverf en kleur 9010 niet te zien.

Ach, wat maakt het uit. Moet toch even laten zien waar ik zoal mee bezig ben geweest deze week.

Oh yeah... I have been throwing around with some paint on "Little Guy".... His butt, bottom and one side are now in color 9010...

Well....... It doesn't make much difference showing a picture here, because on the picture the colordifference between the primer and 9010 is not visible....

Whatever......  I just want to show what I have been doing last week.

Moet ik er nog wel even bijzeggen.... Als er bij mij een iets geverfd wordt, dan heb ik de gekke gewoonte om m'n eigen ook mee te verven haaahahah

Peyote kralen armband is nu helemaal klaar / Peyote bracelet is now completely finished.

Wat verschrikkelijk leuk om te doen, dat peyote kralenwerk. Hier gaan jullie zeker veel en veel meer van zien in de toekomst.

Het volgende object (ook een armbandje) staat al in de planning. 

Maar ik zeg nog niet wat dat is... Dat zeg ik zodra ik mijn kralen binnen heb en weer aan de slag kan.

What a joy is this hobby for me, this peyote beadwork.

You will see a lot more of this in the future.

The next subject (also a bracelet) is already planned.

I am not going to say what it is... I will tell you all when my beads arrive and I can start.

Het armbandje is 18,3 lang x 4 cm breed geworden en heeft een bronskleurige, magnetische sluiting.




ENGLISH:
The bracelet is 7,2" long and 1,6"wide and has a bronzetone magnetic clasp.

Zo, en nu gaat ie in de verkoop.  Het was een plezier om te maken en ik hoop nog vele objecten te kunnen doen in de toekomst.

Bloemetjes update en kralenwerkje grotendeels klaar / Flowers update and beadwork done for a big part.

De week van het bloemetjes borduurwerk zit er weer op. Het is echt een lol om te maken. Vrolijke, frisse kleuren op een mooie kleur ondergrond. 

Ik heb er deze keer wat meer foto's van gemaakt. Dat komt omdat er hier toch wat meer te zien is dan in al die donkere updates haha.

The week of the flower stitchwork has passed. It's such joy to make.

Nice, cheerful colors on a beautiful color background.

I have made more pictures this time. This I did because there is more to see now than all the other dark works.

Ik ben eigenlijk wel gek op donkere borduurwerken. Ik ben meer voor het donker antieke, dan voor het lichte werk, maar nadeel is dat op de updates zo weinig laten zien.

I am actually fond of dark stitchworks. I am more in to dark antique, than for the light works, but the problem is that the updates show so little.

Dat was het weer even voor wat betreft mijn borduurwerk.

Nu even een foto van het complete kralenwerkje. Hij is in die zin nog niet af, dat ik er nog een slotje aan moet gaan zetten. Het is namelijk een armbandje geworden. Maar ik vind hem persoonlijk wel kort.

Maar 15 cmlang en3,8 cm breed. Dus ik zal daar toch wel een fors slotje aan moeten zetten wil het in de lengte nog wat worden.

Maar het portret is gewoonweg prachtig en duidelijk herkenbaar: Bob Marley

This was my stitchwork for this time.

Here is a picture of the completed beadwork.

It's not completely finished yet. It's going to be a bracelet, so I have to make a clasp on it.

But I think it's quite short though.

It is only 6" long and 1,5"wide.

So I have to put on quite a big clasp on it to make it a bit better in length.

But the portrait is just beautiful and easy recognizable: Bob Marley.

Springtime weer de kast in, op naar een rondje bloemetjes en mijn peyote kralen armbandje / Springtime back in the closet and on to a round of flowers and my peyote bead bracelet.

Zo, ik ben een weekje bezig geweest aan mijn Springtime borduurwerk van Kustom Krafts.
Hij is even lekker makkelijk, zo over twee draadjes. Dat is wel eens zo rustig voor de ogen.
De kleuren worden ook prachtig vind ik. Maar, net als mijn vorige update van de Sacred Hour, wel een beetje donker.
Maar goed, verderop in het borduurwerk komt dat weer helemaal goed.

So, I have been working for a week on my Springtime stitchwork by Kustom Krafts .

It is nice and easy for the moment, stitching over 2 threads. It's great for my eyes.

The colors are just beautiful, I think. But, just like my previous update of Sacred Hour, a bit dark.

Ah well, furtheron in this work it all will work out well.

Ik ben ook lekker aan het kralen geweest en nu ziet het er goed uit. Wat is dít ook een gewéldig leuke hobbie moet ik zeggen.

Je hebt nog wat sneller eer van je werk dan borduren. Maar het is ook in die zin pittig dat er behoorlijk aan getrokken moet worden. Ik heb best twee pijnlijke bovenarmen moet ik zeggen. Nou ja, dan heb ik gelijk ook een beetje training haha.

I have spent some very nice time beading and now it looks just great. Oh my goodness..... I love this hobby.

It gives much faster result than stitching.

But it is quite a bit of heavy work. The thread needs to be pulled a bit hard. I have two painfull upper arms. Well, I bead and train at the same time haha.
