Kralen armbandje en nog een stapje verder in mijn grote Chinees.

Ik ben van de week begonnen met mijn nieuwe kralen armbandje.

Volgens het patroon is dit armbandje af in een avondje tijd, maar dat doe ik dus niet.

Als ik dan zo snel klaar ben dan heb ik wéér niets te kralen. En ik zit nog op een zending uit Amerika te wachten voor een ander project, dus doe ik dit in etappes. Heb ik er tenminste langer lol van haha.

ENGLISH:

This week I started my new bracelet. 

According to the pattern it should be finished within an evening, but I am not going to do that.

If I finish this quick, then again, I will have nothing to bead.

I am still waiting for a shipment from America, for another project, so for now I am going to do this one in little steps.

Gives me a lot more fun then finish it straigt away.

Ik heb het patroon van dit armbandje gevonden op Deze site. Dit is een hartstikke leuke site,met veel gratis patronen om te downloaden. Op deze manier kun je dus zelf veel gaan leren. Echt een aanrader voor wie wil gaan kralen.

Hij staat daar als een Iers armbandje. Zal hoogstwaarschijnlijk wel met de kleur kraal te maken hebben.

The bracelet is shown here as an Irish bracelet. That will most likely have something to do with the green colored beads.

Maar ik maak hem dus in andere kleuren.

Als een armbandje al in een bepaalde kleur staat afgebeeld dan wil ik hem niet precies namaken. Dat vind ik zo fantasieloos...

Ik heb het volgende gebruikt:

3 mm silverlined kristal Tsjechisch facet

4 mm koper licht saffier Tsjechisch facet

6 mm Apollo goud Tsjechisch facet

en 2mm Toho rocailles nummer TR-11-926

Deze kralen heb ik bij WirWar kralen gekocht. Zo'n leuke zaak. Is gelegen in een lekker rustig dorpje, met altijd gratis parkeergelegenheid. 

En gratis is altijd fijn.... Wat ik niet aan parkeergeld hoef te betalen kan ik weer in de kralen of borduurpatronen stoppen toch???

Ze zouden wat mij betreft WEL een fiets in die zaak neer mogen zetten hahaha. Die is zo groot en ruim van opzet dat je gerust een fiets nodig hebt om overal langs te gaan. Het liefste dan een bakfiets. Dat laadt wel zo fijn haaahahah

ENGLISH:

I am going to make this in different colors.When it's pictured in a certain color I won't make it the same. That would be so unimaginative...

I used the following beads:

3 mm silverlinded crystal Czech faceted beads

4 mm copper lt sapphire Czech faceted beads

6 mm Apollo gold Czech faceted beads

and 2 mm Toho rocailles number TR-11-926.

These beads I bought at WirWar kralen.

That is such a nice shop. It's situated in a nice quiet village, with lots of free parkingspace.

And free is always nice... What I don't have to pay for parking, I can always use for buying more beads and crossstitch patterns, can't I???

What they COULD do is place a bicycle in the shop hahaha. It's so big and spatial, you  really could use a bike to drive around.

Lets make that a carrier cycle.. That makes it easier to load haaaahahaha.

Als deze rij klaar is, dan komt er nog één rij van crystal kralen op, dan slotje er aan en is hij klaar.

When this line is done, there will be one more line of crystal beads, connecting the clasp and then it's done.

Ik heb gehoord van een persoon die zei: "Als hij in 1/6 draadje was geweest met hele kleine steekjes, dan had ik hem graag willen maken".

Dat gaat bij dit borduurwerk echt NIET op... Dan zou het effect lang en lang niet zo mooi zijn als dat het nu is.

Door de 3/6 draadjes waarmee hij gemaakt wordt, wordt een heel diep effect gecreeerd. Een beetje een 3-d effect. Dat zou je met zo'n dun draadje nooit krijgen.

Nu is het net of er een dikke "bontlaag" ligt over het doek

ENGLISH:

I heard someone say: "If he would have been with 1/6th of thread with very small stitches, I would have loved to make it:.

That SO doesn't work in this kit...

The effect wouldn't be half as nice as it is now.

With the 3/6th of floss, with which it's made, there is a very deep effect created. A bit of a 3-d effect. That is something you would never have with 1 strand.

Now it really looks like a thick "furcoat" on the cloth.

De komende tijd ga ik weer heerlijk werken aan de Griek. Tijd voor mijn leesbril erbij, want die steken zijn onaangenaam klein. (Die in de planeten dan)

Ik verf altijd zonder een broek aan. Anders kan ik die in no time weggooien.

Oh yeah, not many of you can say that you are painting your cabinet while it's on your lap...  I can, hahahaha.

I always paint without my pants on. If I keep them on I can throw it away in no time.
