Bijna in staat om te vliegen / Almost able to fly...

De Chinese kanariepiet kan bijna vliegen..Bijna, maar nog niet helemaal..De vleugels zijn nog een beetje gekortwiekt. Maar het schiet wel op en ik ga aardig richting een finish komen. Zal nog paar weken duren denk ik.

ENGLISH:
The Chinese "canary" can almost fly... Almost, but not completely... The wings are still curtailed.. But it is moving on nicely and a finish is at hand. It might take a few weeks more I think.

Verder  nog een  beetje geverfd aan Mike.. Die ben ik lang geleden begonnen. Ik had geexperimenteerd met de donkere kleur (Babbelaar) ook onder op de pootjes..

ENGLISH:
I also have been painting a bit on Mike.. I started this one a long time ago.. I had experimented with the dark color (Babbelaar) on the low sides of the table legs...

Maar ik vind het niet mooi. Ik vind het te druk...
Dus de onderkant gaat helemaal in de lichte kleur  (Bakfiets) die ik ook op mijn tv-kast heb gebruikt.

ENGLISH:
But I didn't like it... I find it to "noisy".. Don't know if I say it right.. So the lower side is going to be in the light color (Bakfiets), that I also used on my tv cabinet.

Ik ga nu weer even mijn aandacht op The Passing van HAED gooien. Tot de volgende keer.

Old Worldmap twin en kast / Old Worldmap tweeling en kast.

 

Tot mijn schande zag ik dat het  héél erg lang geleden is  dat ik hieraan gewerkt had zag ik op mijn blog.. Juli 2015. Dus de afgelopen 10 dagen even flink eraan zitten werken en van beiden zijn de tweede pagina's nu af.

Kleine uitvoering  32 st per inch / small one. 32 stitches an inch

ENGLISH: To my shame I saw that it was a very long time ago that I worked on this..July 2015..

So the last 10 days I have been working on this project and from both works the second page is ready.

Grote uitvoering 11 count / Big one 11 count.

En ik heb ook nog het nodige geverfd aan mijn toekomstige torenkast. Ik kan op dit moment geen patina krijgen, dus daar moet ik nog op wachten om hem af te maken.

ENGLISH:

I have also been painting on my future stereocabinet. I don't have patina at the moment, so I'll have to wait for that to finish it.

En verder heb ik niet zo heel veel te melden. Ik ga nu weer even mijn volle aandacht gooien op de landkaart van Nederland. Tot de volgende keer. Dagggggggggggggg

Nederlandse kaart / Map of the Netherlands

Wat is die landkaart toch een genot om te doen.. Maar wat een aan en afhecht werk. Vooral al die kleine boompjes zeg maar. Die moeten bosgebied aanduiden.

ENGLISH;
This mapwork is such a joy to make.. But what a work it is, with all that starting and finishing over and over again.. Specially all these little trees. These symbolize the forest area's.

Een paar plaatsnamen staan er ook weer bij. O.a. Grijpskercken en Vriesche Palen. (Allemaal oude spelling natuurlijk)

ENGLISH: 
A few placenames are done.  Places called Grijpskercken and Vriesche Palen.  (These are all old spellings ofcourse)

En hier nog even een foto van het geheel ter afsluiting. Ik ben nu op het punt tussen drie provincies aangekomen: Groningen, Friesland en Drenthe.
ENGLISH:
And last but not least an overview of the complete work. I am now at a point between three provinces: Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe.
